New Home

The Sydney International Boat Show happened to be on while we are here. They clear out a place called Darling Harbour (very trendy place) and then fill it full with multi-million dollar boats.  The first one here (South Steyne) is actually a restaurant and not part of the show, BUT it is where I had my bucks party dinner before getting married here almost 9 years ago.  One of other boats pictured here is actually our NEW HOME!  Yes, we've sold the monticello house on eBay and will now live permanently aboard one of these boats... see if you can guess which one! ;)

I looked for something you could afford...one of those little dinghy boats that the larger ones use to get back and forth to docks...but didn't see one. So, I figure you'd go for one with sails and a fast motor so you could have the best of both worlds, but couldn't tell which one fit that bill.

alright, alright, so we were just pretending to be millionaires for a day. The SMALLEST of those cruisers cost nearly 8 times what our house did!!!

...oh, and the biggest one, worth over $8 million, costs $26,000 to fill up the fuel tanks with diesel!!!
